They are part of a leading engineering group in the Benelux. Their areas of specialisation are comprehensive: assembly lines, robot cells, cobots, packaging systems, process & technology (connection technology), test and measurement systems, Industrie 4.0, PLC applications, visual inspection systems. They bring about automation projects, taking care of the various phases: concept definition, development (mechanical, electrical, software), in house construction (assembly, cabinet building, cabling), start-up and testing, relocation and integration at the customer's site, aftercare and service.
In terms of further expansion, they are strengthening the organisation with a senior project manager.
Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join a competent team in the machinery sector. In this role, you will be responsible for seamlessly taking over projects from the sales process, preparing detailed execution schedules, and effectively organising tasks within the team. You will closely monitor the execution of projects, manage the associated budgets and make adjustments if necessary to ensure high levels of completion.
Your role includes actively communicating the project progress with the customer and managing any changes of more/minor works. As Senior Project Manager, you will be a crucial link in the timely delivery of machine building projects and will be expected to show leadership, motivate team members and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- You have solid experience on technical and/or technological projects in machine building.
- You have strong technical and creative thinking skills.
- You are hands-on and solution-oriented, you are an organisational talent.
- You think ahead, can assess situations and make adjustments in time.
- You have strong communication skills.
- You can gather various stakeholders (customers, suppliers, colleagues) around one goal.
