Our client is an international industrial holding company that occupies a leading position in growing and promising market niches with quality products. Specifically, this manufacturer is active in flexible films, surface technologies and precision components.
One of their activities involves a reputed brand of swimming pool films. These products are distributed through wholesalers and distributors to swimming pool builders and installers.
In view of the leading presence and further strong growth potential within the pool business in the DACH & Benelux area, they are currently looking to strengthen their position with a Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities
- You identify growth opportunities by using existing knowledge, proactive market analyses, existing resources, modern tools and training
- Co-developing the sales strategy and ensuring its implementation is part of your responsibilities as well as planning the results and budget for your sales area
- In search of new opportunities, you fulfil customer needs cross-functionally with your colleagues from R&D and production
- You build long-term partnerships and develop new and existing key accounts at various levels through excellent service and interpersonal skills
- You work in a goal-oriented and self-organised manner in a fast-paced environment and are part of an international, diverse team with common goals
Profile
Your experience and knowledge
- Several years of successful experience in the pool/foil business, water treatment or comparable industries
- Significant experience in activating various sales channels (direct/indirect/digital)
- Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English
- Knowledge of Dutch and/or French means a plus

- Strong analytical skills, technical competence and effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as a self-organised team player in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Strong willingness to travel within the area and further internationally
